The smallest creatures make some of the biggest impressions. PLAGARY's birds and insects range includes perched garden songbirds (robins, finches, sparrows — the species most often requested for railway station and garden scenes), soaring birds of prey (hawks and eagles for mountain layouts), delicate butterflies for flower beds, and bees and dragonflies for water features and meadow scenes. In the Preiser system, birds are classified independently from pets — garden birds and waterfowl form their own group, separate from caged pet birds. We follow this logic: wild birds belong in outdoor scenes, pet birds belong in interior settings. Available in HO, OO and N scale.
