Water Features

Water brings movement and reflection to a miniature scene like nothing else. PLAGARY offers both ready-to-place water features (pre-cast ponds, fountains and waterfall sections with realistic surface ripples) and raw water modelling materials for custom creations. For DIY water, the standard technique chain is: paint the riverbed → apply gloss varnish or Realistic Water (self-leveling pour) → add Water Effects gel for ripples and waves → finish with subtle white highlights for foam. This layered approach, used by Woodland Scenics and Noch alike, creates convincing depth and movement in HO, OO and N scale layouts.
