Choosing the right adhesive is fundamental to model building — the wrong glue can destroy a part or create a bond that fails under stress. PLAGARY's adhesive range covers the four essential types: PVA (white glue) for porous materials — the standard for scenery work, flocking, and ballasting because it dries clear and remains slightly flexible; cyanoacrylate (CA/super glue) for instant bonds on metal, resin and non-porous plastics — available in thin (wicking), medium (gap-filling) and gel (vertical surface) viscosities; plastic cement (polystyrene cement) for melting and fusing polystyrene kit parts — the only adhesive that creates a true weld joint; and two-part epoxy for heavy-duty structural work where shear strength matters. Also available: foam-safe CA (standard CA melts XPS foam — this variant does not).
